I am a wife, mother, social worker, advocate and therapist but God comes first in my life. I believe he is the Alpha and Omega (beginning and the end of this life). I believe if you maintain and develop a close connection to God then it will aid with finding joy in life. At the end of it all if God remains the center of your life, you can find joy even in the dark times.
As a Black woman and trauma-focused therapist, I bring both professional expertise and lived understanding to the healing space. At 31, I’ve dedicated my career to helping individuals navigate life’s hardest moments, with a focus on trauma, crisis, and mood disorders such as anxiety and depression.
My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in the belief that every person has the right to self-determination. I value the strength of family connections, cultural identity, and the resilience that each person carries, even when it feels out of reach. Using a solution-focused, goal-oriented approach, I work alongside you to identify your strengths, clarify your goals, and develop practical strategies to help you move forward.
Whether you are processing past trauma, navigating a current crisis, or seeking to better manage anxiety and depression, my goal is to provide a supportive and empowering space where you feel seen, heard, and respected. Healing is not a one-size-fits-all process, and together we will find a path that honors your story, your values, and your vision for the future.
I am available 7 days a week to get to know who you are and what your goals are in therapy to insure I am the best therapist for you.
I am available 7 days a week to provide counseling services by video or telephone. I am ready to connect with you to support you on your new journey to healing.
As your life coach I will support you with achieving your goals and making meaningful changes in your life. I will not diagnose you with mental health issues or recommend psychotropic medications. If I find a mental health diagnosis is impacting your life in a negative way, I will suggest we transition to therapy.
I graduated from California State University, Sacramento , with a Masters in Social Work in 2019. My life experience as a Black woman striving to break stigma and oppression inspired me to make a career out of advocating for underserved communities. It has been a journey and honor walking along side of my clients during some of the hardest times in their life. It is my goal to support people with finding new ways of examining the intimate parts of their life and unweaving the complexities of their life experiences. I believe trauma has layers that need to be unraveled to truly understand who you are at your core. Learning about yourself opens up new insights and possibilities.
